Weapons
We have a variety of different weapons, all of which were of the type issued to the Feldgendarmerie:

Assorted pistols (P38, PPK etc.)

Mauser K98k rifles

MP34 and MP40 machine pistols

MG13, 34 and 42 light machine guns
Some of these are capable of firing blank ammunition, and can be demonstrated to the public (subject to safety conditions).
We also have some items of equipment used for basic demolition and making booby traps. The Feldgendarmerie were often the last out of an area when withdrawing, and some were give basic pioneer training so that they could create obstacles in the road, or booby trap houses etc. The equipment we have allows us to give an explanation and demonstration of how this was done.
Please note:

All weapons are deactivated to Home Office approved standards and are stamped accordingly by one of the proof houses;

All functioning weapons are held legally on firearms certificates where appropriate;

All ordnance items brought to events are certified as being free from explosives;

For health and safety reasons, members of the public are not permitted to handle any weapons, deactivated or otherwise.
